We'll be happy to arrange lodging for you that is centrally located and in easy walking distance to all the best downtown establishments. We'll meet you this evening to pack your clothes into dry bags and to answer any last minute questions.

Day 1 :
We'll pick you up at 8 am for a one hour drive to Whittier where we’ll transfer to our boat taxi for a cruise to the one of the most scenic islands in Prince William Sound. This region offers the best hiking opportunities combined with sea kayaking. There are many exceptional day hikes to remote lakes and ridgelines that overlook the stunning Chugach mountains. The habitat is rich and diverse which attracts a large variety of wildlife. The sea otters especially like the rocky outcrops associated with this island. Its also one of the best regions to see Orca Whales.

We'll arrive at the beach at eleven, set camp, and after a short safety class, we will start exploring. If you are a first time paddler its not a problem. Most of our clients are beginners and we will make sure you are confident before we depart. If you are a seasoned pro then you will really appreciate our top of the line fiberglass kayaks and intimate knowledge of the region. We'll mix sea kayaking with day hiking at any ratio you wish. With Alaska's long summer days there will be plenty of time for a full day of exploring by foot or sea kayak!

Day 2:
Continue to explore one of the finest regions in Prince William Sound. Great hiking is rare in Prince William Sound but this particular island is spectacular. Amazing hikes abound and the views are absolutely amazing.

Day 2 - 5: Explore the finest region in Prince William Sound by foot and sea kayak. The region we will explore is very remote. No tour boats can make it to this far and most recreational boaters avoid the island due to the extensive rock gardens bordering the shoreline. Our itinerary is flexible and always incorporates your desires. If the whales are around we'll go whale watching, if the sun is bright we may choose to climb to a high ridge. Each day is easy going and flexible.

We provide all your camping equipment including tents, sleeping bags and a wide range of paddling accessories including gore tex paddling jackets. For a complete list click here:

We really enjoy Girdwood so if you wish to stay there on this night its not a problem as its "in-route" to our rafting trip on the next day.
