The World Ice Art Championships is a unique and inspiring creation of a rare and fleeting art form. With the bone chilling winters found in Fairbanks comes a remarkable Alaskan resource, giant crystal clear blocks of ice! Carvers from around the world converge on Fairbanks once a year to celebrate the beautiful transformation of block ice into art. These amazing sculptures will only last a few weeks before the fast approaching summer melts them into memory. Not
only will you see the worlds best ice carvings but you’ll also have
an opportunity to witness the Northern Lights, relax at Chena Hot Springs,
explore Denali National Park and see the largest sprint race for sled
dogs in Alaska, the Open North American. Fairbanks literally overflows
with festivities during this annual celebration of spring! The tour provides
lodging, transportation and activities. The tour departs from Fairbanks. P.O. Box 100965, Anchorage, Alaska 99510 Phone/Fax: (907)258-7238 Toll Free: (866)529-2525 E-Mail: info@alaskavisionquest.com |
